    Metabolism is governed by muscle mass and physical activity, not so much what you eat.

    You can slow you metabolism down by not eating.

    But ultimately, eating extra food will not make you burn extra calories, the extra calories just go to storage, i.e. fat.

    Well I can't say this is well balanced but I'd have to admit it's probably the most nutritious breakfast I've ever had. I had; 1 c. high fiber cereal with 1 c. organic yogurt with cut up apples and grated brazil nuts, almonds and pecans on top of it
