Charice is good and has a wider vocal range but Fantasia injects personality and a believability into her words which I think trumps anything technical (at least between these two artists). See: Fantasia singing "sorry seems to be the hardest word" by elton john

"I Believe" version of Fantasia Barrino was so expressive. The emotions were there, the power and heart. Truly an idol! Wow!

"I Believe" version of Charice Pempengco was so impressive. The vocal power is unquestionable and for a 16 yr. old girl damn that was so impressive!

Both were good; they deserve to be compared. Let's just try to see what's good in them.

first of all, i would like to say that ... i too am a fan of charice's, however, this video was posted on ms. tasia's behalf. "i believe" that we should stick to commenting on fantasia's performance. if you want to praise charice, then do so on her video ... why compare two totally different styles?

my opinion is ... this song is all tasia's! no one can come close to how she sang it ... no one! till this day, i still feel every word she sang ... truly from the heart!
