my homemade laser,
laser diode is from a 16x dvd burner
housed in an axis laser module i got them for 20 Euro from http://stonetek.org/shop/

powered from 2 AA bateries

note: i made a mistake with the title i wrote 150mw instead of 160

  • a cd-rw drive ...

    a cd-rw drive contains an infrared laser diode and its not as powerfull as a dvd burner laser, order them online if you dont have a dvd burner lying around
