Shark Attacks Surfer... warning - bloody images.

Some surfers were surfing at Igoda, near East London, South Africa, when a shark attacked Glenn Vosloo. It was only the quick thinking of his mates that saved his life.

This video is the footage from the hospital AFTER the main leg wound was stitched up. The nurse then stich the foot (you can see the size of the shark's mouth by the cuts on his leg).

Apologies for bad sound and video - this has been sitting on my VCR tape for 10 years! The attack happened in around 1997.

    Well my gf is from St Lucia so we are going to Cape Town and then travelling back there for Christmas. I will be sure to check out Buccanneers, love South Africa the people, and place is amazing. People have to many negative things to say about the place, crime etc but as long as you are careful you will be fine :0) Looking forward to spending summer in SA.
