Joss Whedon and David Greenwalt threw a small pilot episode together, to convince the WB to give Angel a spin-off from 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer'. It almost seems like a promo, really.

    Uh, oh - I fully understand why they made another version of it!! It`s much too awkward and lenghty!! I got it, that it was just meant as some kind of "presentation"...but somehow I remember watching a whole pilot, which was totally different to the later version - was a couple of years ago, so I might be wrong!!
