sadly I will have to agree with you. Turkey considers itself more of a european/western country rather than having to associate with Arabs or Muslim world. Turkish people are physically as well as mentally more related to Europe than the rest of the Arabs.

I am sorry but all of western civilization doesn't have freedom of choice ... only the United States.. France as well as many other european countries have or aretrying their best to ban hijab. US would have probably done it as well for sure if it wasn't for the first and second ammendements.

Your comments reek of jealousy, denials won't change that. If you don't like living in a western civilisation that HAS that freedom of choice then you need to move back to the middle east where everyone looks like they're wearing a black shroud. Then you can really shine.

Perhaps because they feel sexy, curvaceous, perhaps because they are cold, want to wear something practical. Sometimes they may choose NOT to wear makeup. The issue is woman's choice! Don't pass on your hangups and neuroses about "modesty" and "morality" to the west.

Secondly, isn't it wonderful that western women CAN wear tight clothes if they choose to look sexy? Fabulous! They can also choose to wear overcoats, hats, sweaters, pants, bikinis, dresses, shorts, singlets, whatever they like and for their own reasons.
