    Tht all made sense to me, but when I got to the actual theme bit, I realised i didnt have the right thing, and then i couldnt find it, and my computer wont let me open RAR files... any possible way of breakin that stuff down? :) x

    when you switch your phone on or off it goes the the default theme in thememanager which is usually their version of the black one, you can apply a silver theme using theme manager or switch to your normal themes.

    And no, your phone shouldn't freeze

    yes the screen should say that, just so long as you follow the insTructions to the T it all works, you see it displays the yellow screen because the phone cannot find its system files whilst you back them up.

  • perhaps you ...

    perhaps you installed theme manager to your phone instead of memory card, of perhaps you have an incorrect thememanager.txt inside the folder. Make sure you are on the silver theme when you try and change themes and make sure that all the folders and files inside thememanager folder on your memory card are hidden.

    If that dosent work then im not sure whats wrong, sorry.

    Other than that try downloading a thememanager from somewhere else and try again.
