For more information go to http://tiger.tv/more_info/?856. The Ultra RangePlus Dual-Band Wireless-N Notebook Adapter is the simple way to add or upgrade wireless connectivity in your notebook computer. Just slide it into your notebook's PC Card slot and enjoy incredible high-speed wireless network access while retaining true mobility. The Dual-Band Wireless-N Notebook Adapter uses the very latest wireless networking technology, Wireless-N (draft 802.11n). By overlaying the signals of multiple radios for each band, Wireless-N's "Multiple In, Multiple Out" (MIMO) technology multiplies the effective data rate. Unlike ordinary wireless networking technologies that are confused by signal reflections, MIMO actually uses these reflections to increase the range and reduce "dead spots" in the wireless coverage area. The robust signal travels farther, maintaining wireless connections much farther than standard Wireless-G.

  • kb is different to ...

kb is different to KB and mb is different than MB. kb is kilobits and bits are 8x smaller than a byte. so 300 mbps is 37.5 Megabytes per second. The only advantage with this router is range and if you have a network of computers sharing files. If you have a faster internet connection than 6.75 MBps then it will give you a speed advantage on the net.
