    Kumho color smoke tires are kind of a cheat in a burn out contest though, they are specifically MADE to produce tons of thick smoke.

    The odd thing is when you light a tire on fire you get black smoke, but burning it up on a car produces white smoke. (normally)

    Shouldn't the end result be somewhat similar since both events are destructive heating of the tire?
