this is exactly what I personally AM goin thru! in da movie, he was falling under a drug
O.D.-induced hallucination that nearly took his life(I don't F**k with drugs, BTW).by mentally reliving the absolute HELL that was his childhood he then fantasized becoming the thing he despised-his father died in the Kamps
if I remember rite-A ruthless despot bent on weedin out those who brought anger to him-who
became "the bricks in his WALL". I'm personally goin thru a similar period in my life!

pink floyd 4 ever. the wall was such a good movie. So symbolic and everytime you watch it you realize something differnt. Pink floyd got me through some ahrd times in highschool

I saw the film when it came out, '79 or '80 maybe; I was 13. I found it depressing, like much of the rest of the Floyd's output. Great music though.

This is film is the best music film I have ever seen and I have watched this since I was 3 and I am now 16![Parents loved it]

As for people trying to understand the true meaning of this,I think that there are so many different interpretations that no-one could possibly understand them all!Personally I really enjoy the "Comfortably Numb" scene.
This film needs to be watched through and through a number of times to truely GET the meaning of Pink.
All in all make you OWN judgement on this film

Marching hammers...too cool! This is the only part of the movie I really like.

no their not roger waters hated his F**king fans because they didnt get the meaning of his music and this is about it because he wanted to kill his fans he even states this in in the flesh
