i wish i had a kitty who would go swimming with me! that would be a dream come true.

My cat hats water. She wont go near the door if its raining out.

Doesnt have marking of a Van at all (a breed from around Lake Van that is known to be water-lovers); maybe a trait the kitten learned from early days. Other than the Vans (and another Scandinavian breed), cats generally avoid water

My cat had a tendency to "fall" into the bathtub. She didn't seem to mind the fact that she was wet...just more the embarassment of having too much weight on her behind to maintain balance...and of course the humiliation of the drying process.

most cats hate water, unless you train them otherwise i'm sure. there is a breed of cats called turkish vans who are renowned for swimming though!
