    I am sorry to say but your analysis is not very well explained. First of all if you look through the corridor window you can see a wall of the house much closer than the room in the distance we see the shadow. next there is a source of light in this room that some one would have to come in front. Notice that we never see anybody passing by and the shadow is exclusively by itself stretching from fire place to the corridor.
