    When Alzheimers struck my friend, he got violent and held a knife to my sisters neck and spent a night in jail for it! I felt so bad! Then a few months later he was ok and remembered all! He said that the guards pushed him and that he hit his head on the ground!
    Now I know that it is Alzheimers since he is taking Aricept and Namenda. I hate Alzheimers!

    Here is a brief Alzheimers story. My friend, who was 66 at the time attacked my sister with a knife! He was sent to jail and nobody knew what went wrong! He was then sent to the hospital and when I saw him he was so confused!
    That was in November and in March of 2007 he got well but could not come to see me because of flashbacks of that day!
    He was better through this past Easter when we went shopping and did great stuff and in April!

    No connection. Whatsoever. People with Alzheimer's are not like children. They do regress, but usually into absolute trivia...random fragments of childhood ... shards of a mirror, that's all. "Is my mother coming"? very very sad to be there and observe the brain disintegrate...it would be nice if there were a meaning, but I dont think there is, really.
