    To expand on my comment, for example I have a program that has a notice on startup saying unregistered nonsense. You can enter registration information of any length and it will say ok, but it needs to restart the program to verify. Now if you were to open it in olly, there are no referenes to words on the prompts. I know the data is stored in registry, how would one breakpoint that check, maybe jump over? Is there any way to learn on a real program with lots of coding we might actually see?
