Natural vaginal birth of our twins without the pleasure of an epidural...it stopped working!!!!! Ouch!!! The babies were born 5 min. apart at 9:30am and 9:35 am. Please excuse the dark line that moves from the top to bottom of the screen, there's still plenty to enjoy!

  • Wow just read back ...

Wow just read back other comments. I always thought that when a baby come out of your V****a it is a natural birth. That is the natural way for bubs to come out so its natural. Dont worry what anyone else says. You should be proud that you birthed your babys. Ive had 2 c-sections because i had to so i would be happy to one day have a birth as natural as yours. x

  • even if your ...

even if your vaginal birth wasnt 100% natural it was still an exceptional birth. not many woman are allowed to birth vaginally in a hospital. i had a natural childbirth with my last two babies and i'd still feel lucky to birth twins vaginally with some intervention. ignore the haters you had birth to be proud of.

  • congratulations on ...

congratulations on the birth of your twins. i am glad you had a birth where you felt empowered and in control. i must say though there is very little natural about this birth. on your back, directed pushing, baby monitor, episiotomy, suction, early cord clamping, no skin to skin contact, there is no evidence to back up any of these birth rituals. i wish we could get away from calling a vaginal birth a natural birth. your birthing is a wonderful event but this is not natural.

  • I've tried to make ...

I've tried to make this clear before, so I'll do it again. I do not think a woman is any less a woman if she gives birth with or without pain relief. I'm no hero, so I opted for an epidural. I labored with an epidural, but it was pulled out of place when I transferred from the labor bed to the OR bed. So, in fact, this video shows a vaginal birth with no epidural. Not even lasting effects of an epidural. Natural vaginal birth.

  • General anesthesia ...

General anesthesia is when you are put to sleep. Spinals and epidurals are also anesthesia. Greek word, anaisthesia: lack of sensation.

  • Congratulations on ...

Congratulations on the vaginal birth of your twins. There is a definite difference between a "natural" birth and a "vaginal" birth. In a natural birth, one does not have medication on board.

you don't get anesthesia with a c-section. You're awake the whole time. You can have either a spinal or epidural.
