i know that the common english person of those days didnt commit the autrocities against the irish,and i know that the scotish and welsh have had an "uneasy" history with england aswell but the irish suffered a hell of alot more than anyone else under british rule

Actually the atrocities commited against the irish were commited by the english aristocracy the people of england had to put up with their own equivalents of the highland clearances as well as having produce stolen by landowners. Plus Scotland and Wales have had to live under english rule for centuries of forced conscription and tyrannical abuse. I'm not making light of the atrocities in irish history but they are by no means unique
