I have successfully made my first Waste Oil Burner. I hope this is what will soon power my metal melting funace.

    One more question... did you weld a top plate on it?? it looks like you did, or did you paint the top? And the cup that you have pictured under your tank and gate valve... did you do that so you don't need one of those small needle type controls, and it allows you to eye ball your volumetric flow rate?

    So there are 2 1/8" boxes and pipes leaving a 1" gap all the way around, which is filled with refactory?? His site on the G4 and G5 didn't cover the refactory... I guess its implied...however I'm new to this game. What recipie did you use??? it almost looked like liquidy concreate. thanks
