    But...ppl can easily confused with that if they din knoe the concept of both!i also tot that the gamelan dance was a makyong dance,coz the film pontianak...in the press conference,shumi said that movie is actually promoting the makyong dance element where actually meriam was the gamelan dancer!

    the second dance was NOT mak yong.... mak yong was not even a dance... it's a traditional theatre.. only some part of it consists of dance elementa, namely the mengadap rebab part. Th second dance showed is called gamelan dance... most probably togok.... mak yong is from kelantan, gamelan is from terengganu-pahang
