The song is also known as "Loss of Love" I have it on CD, it's a slightly different version but I think both are great. Mancini was 100% class. I miss him.

Isn't this the film where she plays opposite Richard Burton and he is a married man? And their love is doomed from the start? The music sounds quite tragique. Like meeting someone on the street in NYC and after a wonderful weekend they fly back to Paris and you never see them again. Very tragique.

This stuff is out everywhere, probably even Kmart CDs (hehe)...altho I never searched it out myself. Happening on Mancini vids here on YT took me back to the early 70s, when I listened to this stuff on my parents' stereo HIFI (chortle)..it sure brings back lots of memories.

i ve heard a word (god gifted). and henri has shown us what a gift of god is..he was blessed and thats y he took us very close to the emotions and nature.i never knew nature and emotions as good as i do after listening to henri's msuic..his music has made me a better human bieng which no education can....may his soul rest in peace ..we ll always miss this legend........
