Zizzle Pirates of the Caribbean Pinball

about 4 months, and the only thing I had to mess with was the right flipper button. I had to take it apart and re-align the leaf-switch so it made better contact. Which I shouldnt have had to do, but it wasnt that hard to fix. The machine gets played quite a bit though, with no major issues. (other than its difficulty pissing some people off:) )

how long have you had yours for? any issues with it?

yeah I dont blame you. Dont give them any excuse to not allow you to trade that action in.

oh i am tempted to take it apart to look, i mean it's only held together by regular screws.. but i am sending it back for another.. and if they could somehow tell it was taken apart (if i couldn't fix the issue) they are likely not to warranty it..

yeah I would almost guarantee there is a dip switch or something inside the machine to turn that mode on and off. I am betting they simply forgot to turn it off before it left the factory after they tested the machine. But still S**ks that you would have to take apart your machine to find it.

When at the "switch test" i decided to roll the ball around the field, and every switch would make a "BEEP!" sound and flash the number on the screen eg, right flipper = "SW4" but, when rolling the ball around the 2 little "Score points" switches by the left outlane do not respond, course the Machine doesn't even try the switch test it just sits at it.. and pressing "start" will take you through test 1-7, then it just goes right back to Product test.. like it's in a loop.

yes they would have a nice product if they had better support, and made their products more reliable.. anyways, i called The Source (thats where i bough it from) and i am returning it for another one, this will be my 3rd one.. man, this one better work.

they didn't even ask any question, i think they know about the high failure rate these have.

yeah that is odd fort a test mode like that to be "stuck". And I have been hearing the same thing about zizzle support from a lot of people. really is a shame cause they have a product here that has a lot of potential.

nope there is no way to bypass these startup product test.. so this one will be going back for a refund, Zizle won't answer my emails and they have no phone number.. kinda odd isn't it?

that is some weird. Sounds like something that you can shut off though I would imagine. if you figure it out post back, cause I think it would be cool to enter that mode to test things :)
(and I agree the build quality of these machines need a bit of improvement is spots....even at the cheap price)

k, i got the "Marvel Heroes & Villains" Table, and it worked first couple times.. now when i turn it on it does a product test and sits at the "switch test" .. this is the second table i got. first one didn't even turn on.. i think these products S**k

I got to the next level once. It is a challenge for sure. I most likely will keep this for a change of pace. My next full size machine will be Sopranos.

I don't know. You still have the wide gap between them and the gutter lanes are poorly designed. That's okay though. Have you ever got to the next level? I have a few times - the music changes and you have to hit the chest (in my case : dr. doom) a total of 10 times to beat the game. I never defeated Dr. Doom.. yet.

I got my Family Guy slightly used for $3000.00 with shipping. I shopped around to find a good deal. Will putting the new and improved fippers make my POTC better?
