    The disc the cog is cut from is screwed to a spoil board from underneath. It could just as easily been screw from the top. When doing many of the same part it works best this way as you can use the same pilot holes in the soil board each time you fix a part.

    That's a cool demo of a CNC machine. Some parts of the video were a little repetitive, like watching half the teeth get cut, and it would have been nicer to see the finished cog. Nevertheless, very cool stuff.

    it would be great if we can communicate with each other and share knowledge with regards to programs, softwares, tools, workarounds etc.
    I am currently looking forward to making some 3D surface designs on my machine.

    nice i am working on one of this machines,it is weeke optimat bhc 280 model and you can cut whatewer you can draw in auto-cad!for example this easter i made a huge bunny on the plywood board it was 1x1 m large!and we put it into our store so that our customers could see what our machine can do and they were impressed.but we have a 16mm router..that is to large to cut something this small as a clock if we only had a smaller router...
