This is the alternate video to the smash hit single 'Zoot Suit Riot' by America's finest rock band, the Cherry Poppin' Daddies. Directed by Isaac Camner.

I'm not sure about the actual history behind this video, but this is what I assume: this is the original music video that Mojo Records shot for the band to promote their 1997 compilation album 'Zoot Suit Riot'. After the swing revival began to take off and the band/song got some notice, it was refilmed to become the current video that we all know and love today.

In my opinion, I much rather prefer this video. I like Steve's over-the-top expressions and the swing atmosphere is pretty neat. However, I'm glad they reshot it for the masses and gave it a bit more 'Cherry Poppin' Daddies' atmosphere (the evil clown, the goat head, the guy licking a foot...let's see hacks like Brian Setzer or Big Bad Voodoo Daddy try THAT!); it really set them apart from the other swing revival bands (as it rightfully should have, seeing as the Daddies were never a "swing band" to begin with).
