Something you may or may not have known about Sarah Palin
It's really a funny thing that an intelligent person would get so worked up about someone wanting to believe in a higher power. I think the idea of a god is silly, but I don't care if someone has that belief. The reason? Because it is usually a sign that they respect life, which is something I do think is important if you want to have a civilized word. But that belief does not mean a person does not believe in science? To generalize that all creationists don't want to deal with science is as silly as saying all scientists don't believe in god. How about you measure a person on whether they want good things for you or not? I ask that people consider this because most of the world has some sort of diety in their belief system, so we probably ought to find the good people in the country to work in our government and place our energy into making sure these good people also understand the need to keep their views seperate from mine, and I will do the same for them.
By SickNTired 1220112799 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeobama is not the topic of discussion as i dont support him either. defend YOUR position without the red herrings. defend how shes right about creationism in the science class. defend,or better yet, define her foreign affairs experience.

Understanding the past and how people thought explains many things in society today. Increased understanding allows dynamic thinking and more than one-sided bias decisions. Someone should teach you a bit of grammar though...

"Sarah Palin - creationist"...OH MY GAWD! This guy isn't going on about how Barack Hussein Muhammad is a Black Muslim or how Joe Biden is a control-freak COMMIE -- those things r just fine! But "does anyone have any information on whether she is a Creationist", said just like, "anyone have any information she's an axe murderer"!I'm GLAD I was put here put a Creator, Who gave clear-cut guidelines on how to live.
By hiepub [Affiliate User] 1220047964 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removei assume you will be teaching your childern astrology,as well as alchemy and flat-earth theory too right? i mean, teach both sides even if one of them has been proven wrong time and time again and let the kids decide. definitely a logical plan.
By cstrand31 [Affiliate User] 1220047831 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveA bible thumper from way back, but I would never call someone I have never met a whacko, in high school she was the local leader of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. A snaked eyed politician who is the target of an ongoing probe you can bet I'd call her that. A trophy V****a who is prettier then mcan't trophy wive and has just about as much experience governing I'd call her that to.

Evolution is the educated decision. Only people raised in a creationist environment believe in creationism. Nobody reaches creationism as a logical conclusion without brainwashing. Besides, eddygoombah has a point, it means that she is willing to ignore scientific evidence based on her own beliefs.

Sarah Palin, is an evangelical Protestant with a strong record of opposition to A******n and an openness to teaching creationism in the public schools." - Boston Globe. Anyhoo, the fact is that she wants to continue to teach the MYTH of creation in the arena of science. they are incompatable. but believing the myth,or evolution would be irrelevant in your russia situation, only her foreign affairs experience. oh wait...she has none, thats right.
By cstrand31 [Affiliate User] 1220047519 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveScience isn't done in the class room. There's no debate, cos there's only one side.
We need to teach children that astrology, alchemy, and flat-earth etc. isn't science, and it isn't real. Creationism is a fairy-tale!
But the rest of the world, specially the EU & China loves the dumbing down of America. It makes it easier for them to compete in the future, and replace the US as leaders in science.
Officially, Palin doesn't take a side.
Asked by the Anchorage Daily News whether she believed in evolution, Palin declined to answer, but said that "I don't think there should be a prohibition against debate if it comes up in class."
"I'm not going to pretend I know how all this came to be," she said.
I think a good debate on both sides is beneficial, she only wants to talk about it if it is initiated in class. In psychology, we don't talk about sex-orientation unless its brought up.
What if I said you were an idiot because your an evolutionist. You should base your decision on many more things than this. OMG Russia drops forces in Alaska what shall we do? Well since our president is an evolutionist it will help us soooooo much. I personally don't care either way I plan to teach my children to look at all sides of everything and make an educated decision.

By bbmonte [Affiliate User] 1220045464 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI made the same decision when i heard him say "i believe this country was built as a christian country"
Nothing against christians, but this country was started as a secular nation. Its historical fact that is not debatable and if this guy doesnt know even that about this country he's gonna do a shoddy job of running it.
My mother sent me to a Catholic high school. I remember in our "Comparative Religions" class the teacher taught us that evolution was easy to debunk. He used this example: When a tree drops it's fruit on the ground the seeds in that fruit produce another tree just like the parent tree. I always thought it funny how this is so wrong, take the apple tree for instance. A tree that produces granny-smiths will not produce another tree that produces granny-smiths. You have to clone the tree. Duh.

By freedom0f5peech [Affiliate User] 1220043405 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveYou believe in evolution? You must have a lot of faith. I agree with one of the other posts: stick with your instincts and steer clear of politics. Although, I seriously look forward to subscribing to your discussions on evolution and listening openly to what you have to say.
By nlslegal [Affiliate User] 1220043020 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI can't say i'm surprised. He needed a woman to help steal those Hillary votes, because a lot of women care more about sex than men (oh the irony). And it was pretty obvious to me that he's a creationist. Seriously, the republican party is so predictable.

You should steer clear of politics.
You should always go with your instincts.

Fine, I am not a fan of that either but any person that shoots M4's with the troops is good in my book.

Awesome.
His choice of her for a running mate is a complete dealbreaker.
Now I no longer have to be plagued with any remaining doubts as to whom I'd vote for.
but she's a idiot. It's a requirement to be an idiot if you're a creationist.
