    would be great if the could hover for that long but not possible due to the over heating of the engine they only hold enough water for a sustained 60 sec hover then its on turbine heat if they stay longer also he crashed due to nozzel separating form the aircraft so loss of downward airstream

    i believe its because that was an airshow right and the harrier was waiting in line it was probably hovering there for a good 10 to 15 mins before the crash
