Brilliant tune. I was in the V&A musuem today and they have this album on display as a classic of its time (mainly for the artwork i think). Strange to think it's now a musuem piece! 4AD were a fantastic label.

This was when they were an up-and-coming 4AD band. They got knocked for being derivative of Jesus and Mary Chain, but they were the best American shoegazers ever. Can't believe this is almost 20 years old! Thanks for posting!
