20% Renewable Energy by 2020

Well we have been in the Idustrial Age for only about 200 or 300 years. As our industrial abilities increase, so too will our impact on the evironment. Our impact has already been very large, with oil spills and pollution. Global warming WILL be getting worse if we don't do something now.

If USA listened to it's scientists they would have this kind of energy too. Instead some people in the white house see it fit to invade other countries to secure the steady supply of oil. While it's a good short term solution it's a catastrophic long term one. See what Bush brought to your country?

For Netherland it is a matter of life and death. If global warming causes raise in sea level Netherland is fucked since their country is entirely lowland.

Wind and water power are what I believe we should strive towards - they're just so beautifully efficient! None of that burning things to make steam to force along pipes - just infinitely renewable wind and water directly driving your turbine.
