Happy was shot in Vancouver throughout the summer of '95. Dennis Dugan, who plays the PGA guy, directed it from a script by Sandler and Herlihy. Adam had a great time in Vancouver, he thinks everyone should go there sometime. And yes, that IS Covert's real hair and beard that he grew out to play Otto the Homeless Caddie
