I done that and its worked for 3 days...
And today i tried to connect and its saying theres a problem with my connection.
I have tried everything trying to stop this problem.
I have unplugged my router.
Restarted my laptop serveral times...
Can you please help ?

My test fails at DNS...

i did all of this, and then when i test the xblive, it says the DNS failed.
what do i need to do to fix it?

my IP still fails . this S**t does not work at all man!

there might be another xbox using that wireless connection thats what happened with me too

When I tick both boxes in network connections and press OK. It comes up with - An error occoured while Internet sharing was being enabled. Then when I test the Xbox Live connection next to IP adress it says - Failed. I clicked 'More Info' and it says 'Your console was unale to gain a lease with your DHCP server. Make sure that adresses are avalable on your server.'

plus how do you figure out your dns ?

Thanks mate worked for me, btw if your using xp not vista then on xp go to connect to then show all networkings, then double click on your wireless one click properties then click advanced then it will say about network sharing, i shall help by making a vid so i hope this helps, you for the time being oblivion
