mmm.. nice try. you know im hispanic, i was born in venezuela, and i've heard this song i dont know how many times, i lost count :). very well said but no matter how good what yu said sounds, it is stil your opinion :).some ppl could think this version sounds better :)

I have the utmost respect for Bocelli but the orchestration in this arrangement does not give this song the justice that it duley deserves. This is a very old mariachi song dating back to the early 20th century of Mexican Music. This version is too fast and has a more caribbean feel. The orginal mariachi version is warmer and Solis' deep masculine voice gave the song a more heroic and romantic quality. That is not to say bocelli did not sing well. He did but the original is unmatched. far &wide.
