That is the ugliest car ever made, without a doubt. Honda stands for, Had One, Never Did Again. Worst car ever owned, my ex bought it.

Elk4758: I agree with you on all your points except #3. If we stop an 18 wheeler from 60mph, which has obviously more traction due to the 18 wheels, it will never stop faster than a bike. You also have to take weight into consideration, among other factors. My point? The type-r has more traction.

#1 the Type-R is FWD so it would need X2 the traction to match the bike since it's front tires have to steer and put power to the ground.

#2 the Type-R's tires are wider, but they are not as good. The bike's tires are almost racing slicks.

#3 if the Type-R has more traction, why can the bike stop faster?

#4 put "suzuki vs westfield fifth gear" into the search and you will see a car that's far better then the Type-R barely out handling a GSX-R1000.

The car is definitely heavier by a lot but each tire on the car has about 2 times the surface area on the road then the bike.

Yeah the Japanese Type-R is the real one. The Euro Type-R doesn't even have an independent rear suspension.

The bike by it's self weighs 439 lbs and with a rider it weight like 650 lbs. The car by it's self is 2,793 lbs with a driver it's 3,000 lbs.

How does having 2 times the grip help when it weighs 4.5 times as much?

I've seen far better cars then the Type-R get kill by bikes on Fifth Gear before. There is no way this was a real race.

Toseland is an awesome rider. been watchin him race a few times. to ride that bike the way he did, takes some serious skill.

it's not really a fair fight since the car has double the amount of grip since it has four wheels and a bike only has two. More grip = faster in turns = better lap time. Sad but true.:(
