    Actually, the traction comes from the width of the tires. Normal car tires are only about 8 inches wide. The tires Rod Saboury uses on his 'Vette are D.O.T. Certified Drag Radials which are about 15 inches wide on the ground! So they are street tires; they have a tread and all! Mickey Thompson and Hoosier make these the best, and some of the bigger street tires they make can be up to nearly 20 inches wide. I've been there and I've seen it!

    wtf ur retarded gtr was #1 but beat by zr1 acr isnt fastest plus gtr is cheaper and better on most other tracks. plus the v-spec willbe #1 soon. ps ssc isnt realky americsn, it had much help frum european companys, and tuners hold records for 90% of tracks with cars like the hks evo ripping up
