Partridge in Hunting Camp

I liked your video, sometimes I get partridge's that hang around my camp in napadogan New Brunswick but there not that brave that they come right threw the front door and sit down. I Think he liked you ,great video.

Hahaha those partridges are weird eh, I had one that came into my chicken coop and I raised with all the other chickens and roosters.

Hunting camp is just across the road from my house. I bought this house just last summer and met that partridge by surprise. I'd have to say I was surprised to see the video!! Sure enough it's there every time you go

sorry but your wrong , this is on private property and everyone that goes 4 wheeling there knows about the bird and know not to shoot it. Someone seen it just last week so it survived hunting season.

as nice as this is... all it most likely ended up doing was giving it a death sentence... it has no fear of humans and will get shot...

so they ended up shooting her , i'm afraid that will end up happening to this partridge too.

That's so funny. Here in Northern NB my dad had a partridge like this by his camp. She would run out as soon as it heard my dad's bike coming and follow him while he was driving. If she slowed down, he would call out to her and she would come running. We have pics of her sitting on his shoulder and his head, sharing an apple. Until someone found out about her and took advantage, and shot her. :(
