I can hardly wait until these are killing people for freedom and democracy (or whatever they're pitching murder as at the time).

It's a robot, the most advanced quadruped (4 legged) robot in the world.
It's not too fast but remember that it has to 1 scan the ground, 2 analyse where it's about to step, 3 constantly check it's movements until it lands 4 moniter the leg for a moment and 5 work out how it's ment to move the next leg without falling over,

Remember though it has to do this many times a second, so it has to do step 1, 2 and 3, 50 times every second.

look up fuel from saltwater it will blow you away. as maybe the new fuel of the futer

gasoline agines always set back progress i hate the oil compaines. it need a more advaned engine, get away from gass.

It could be both, nobody knows but DARPA.
If it is going to be a horse of death they might use the XM 307 (please check it out on wikipedia) its a next to no recoil machine gun that can fire explosive rounds.

It has been proven to be highly effective at carrying munitions and other equiptment.

In the video above the bags it carries weigh together roughly 170kg.

In my opinion i think it should have a hyrid motor so that it doesn't ruin a squad's stealth.

i dont'h understand will be a war bot or a robotic horse to carry amunition??

too bad they dont'h have an artwork of the final version i mean how he will look in the future this robot is cool but they need to do something with the motor sound and he needs a head for a more cool aspect :))good work dudes keep upgrading this robot 5 stars

The RHex reminds me of the Replicators on the tv show Stargate. I hope someone includes Asimovs three laws of robotics in these machines.

I've tried to email them but everyones overloading them and so they'll "get back to me soon"

Even Popular Science has just gotten an exclusive review of it, although there's not much there that you can't find on the Boston Dynamics website.

I'll also be posting another vid with the other 2 Boston Dynamics robots although they're not as good as these 2.

I'm not sure but i'll try to email Boston Dynamics to see.
