Never. Also MLS has a salary cap. Two million is the total for all players combined. Some EPL teams spend over 100million to pay for their players alone. Beckham is an exception since is noted as a DP (designated player) and only two are allowed per team. So yes, quality will never be equaled or come even close, the MLS can never afford the talent like Chelsea has with this set up.

To be honest that match wasn't that great. The Galaxy at this time was really a horrible team. Chelsea wasn't playing on full-gear yet you can still clearly see they're a much much better team than the Galaxy. After a few weeks Galaxy has improved though more control on the midfield, largely due to Beckham, Cobi Jones should help also when he's back from injury.
