    gravity is just as fast as light the only theoretical way of traveling faster than ligt is to fly at lightspeed around a black hole that warps the space around it so that a person looking at you from the outside will see you diappear into the past

    think about it..light speed is not the fastest speed out there. gravity is a much faster and more powerful force then light. in a blackhole the speed of gravity is faster and stronger then light, which is why light can not even outrun the force. gravity seems to have a variable speed, here on earth gravity is set and nonchanging, but elsewhere in space (blackholes) the speed and strength of gravity is far greater which makes it faster then light speed.
