Convict Cichlid X Midas Cichlid Fry

They were 5-6 inches max. All were round and thick. They all looked like a mini version of a huge full grown nucahl humped RD. They looked like convicts but larger. I bought the one that was white bodied/skinned with orange stripes/barred and a nuchal hump.

What did they look like ? Were they larger than a full grown 6" convict ?

Thanks for your reply eatdrywall. A long time ago, I purchased some pink convict crossed RD and ever since my last one died a few years ago, I have been wanting to find some like it again. Actually, I DID plan on selling them, but as they are growing, they seem to look like a regular black convict. I'll give them some more time and what I will probably do is breed one of those with the Midas and see what a second generation hybrid will look like. I expect that the results will be better.
