lets work in base 5. ( 1,2,3,4,5,10 etc) 12+ 14= 30 in base 6 vedic check 1+2 =3 and 1+4 = 5 in base 5, 5 =0 so 5 + 3 = 0 + 3 so 30 = 3 vedic check works out in base 5 it is a property of the base number . nb i might have meant base 6 6 being written as 10.

thanks for the video. I have been interested in the Fibonacci sequence and Sacred Geometry, and started looking at how numbers are basically a sum of the other like 37 and 10..then realized that it also goes back subtracting one then two as you get into the hundred digits...but you brought it to life..thanks a lot!!! math should be taught this way then more americans would have less problem with math...you are a great teacher.

Vedic Math shown here is very small section of thousands of pages of math, astronomy, science etc, in the Vedas on which the religion Hinduism is based... Vedas is by no means a system but a set of indian scriptures... even pythagoreas theorem, calculus, binary system in present in those scriptures... about 1000 BC !!! watch " vedic science videos on youtube, wikipedia also has a good description

This is just because you have taken out the zero! in a 10 digits scale (0123456789) 9+1 = 0 9+3 = 2 . But without zero you have 9 in place of it... 9+1=10(1+0=1), 9+3=12(1+2=3).You just decided it! looks more like magic
