Opeth-When Live

There's very few singers that can actually switch between harsh(growl) and clean vox. How can you even say that?have you heard some other songs by opeth?And the last thing. Mikael Arkefeldt is conscidered one of the best metal singers and don't try to say sth against.Cos then you'll stand alone against whole army of angry metal heads!!What's your genre of music you listen to? If it's not metal, than you have nothing more to say here.Just leave and try to solve your complexes somewhere else.

Mikael is the best :O He can sing AND growl perfectly live. Amazing dude.

Listen to other Opeth songs and notice he can sing very well, listen to "In my time of need" or "Benighted".

It's great that these guys toured with BTBAM... not so much Dream Theatre... I got uber tired of them. Though, I like BTBAM's compositions more... Opeth kicks ass. Ghost Reveries is my favorite album.

Opeth does a wall of sound technique similar to Phil Specter's treatment to the Beatles music. Believe it or not its similar. Their ability to layer their guitar work is simply amazing. Truly an amazing band with some of the tightest musicianship of resent years. Honestly no matter how blaring and heavy their music gets, its still some of the most beautiful music I've ever heard.

If Metal is rock, rock is blues and blues is gospel, doesn't that make Brutal Death metal the same thing as Church Gospel.? I'm not sure if the churches appreciate for example Burn The Priest or Maggot Stuffed C**t .

I will respectfully disagree with you and stand my ground when I say that As I Lay Dying and Underoath are inferior forms of music--be it as musicians, lyrically, expressive, or their overall composition of their music. As well, I really do not agree with any form of music in the name of a religion
