Q. What about when the witch is facing you?
A. Same rules apply for when the witch is in front of you. The only difference is that when you approach the witch from in front of her, the margin for error is a lot smaller, seeing as how she will spot you and begin to stand up as you make your way toward her.

So basically -- Full frontal witch headshot is still possible, but one screw up, and you're definitely dead.
