    you need to check out a world map.
    Chile has the same aprox the same high and low latitude and it snows there, so of course. And in indonesia even, which is even closer to the equator!
    there's snow anywhere that the mountains go high enough to reach the air that is cold enough to create snow.

    I watched this movie in the cinema in Sao Paulo, Brazil, in summer of 1990 while I and my parents were on vacation....it really cracked me up at that time too....
    Icehouse really rocks!!!I'm proudly one of the few Aussie bands lovers in my country...
    Watching this scene and with awesome tune playing almost brought me to tears...
