http://www.djegadz.com For all button pushing purposes it is an MPC, it is tagged as such because of the style of buttons, but MPD is also made by AKAI. The same song could be accomplished on an MPC, since the main focus is on the programming, not the internal mechanisms.

The video is a second part to the original theatrical version of the real song. This is the reason why it is in the basement, and why the lights turn on and off. The real video can be found in the responses.

This video is absolutely live, there are NO LOOPS or background tracks. All sounds are programed onto the buttons and played in real time. Filmed with a direct in to the camera, no cut aways. This is EGADZ's reinterpretation of "What We Are Destined To Do". Directed by Patrick Guera.

  • That's exactly what ...

That's exactly what i thought. So when he's hitting one pad it's triggering more than one sound?

  • ACTUALLY quonnie4.. ...

    ACTUALLY quonnie4...

It looks as if he has the drums LAYERED on the same pads as the ambient melodic sound. watch when he plays slower and the beat slows down listen in between the hi hats. when hes leaning over he switching banks to the samples without the layered drums. if you made beat you'd know that and if u do make beats than dont quit ya dayjob

  • its not a Akai MPC ...

its not a Akai MPC Machine... its just a Midi/USB controller....

and it can be done easily... just chop drum loop and place an octave of a sound on the same bank then program the pads the way you want them to play (at the same time)...

when he leans down he simply turn on his break samples on whatever program hes using...

if your a beat maker or make music using drum machines, samplers, synths or programs you know what he is doing... and its nothing but programing.

    still nice tho...

    to kidwithoutradio :

I thought I explained it pretty well, I could have went into even more depth, but as TylerMosh said, why bother explaining it.

And all I was doin was putting a hater in thier place. Dunno why you jumped to his defence

And everything I said was pretty much accurate
