a lot of people who watch this doesn't get this movie. the whole point of the story is the narrator(Edward Norton) killing his teacher Tyler Durden(Brad Pitt) at the end therefore completing the process of his maturity. so, if you believe following and impelementing the philosophies in the film would guide you to enlightenment, then you're immature and stupid. live your life and be happy! ^.^

the idea with Fight Club was to make Brad Pitt work out more and more so he would look more appealing while Ed Norton got skinnier and skinner. To sort of play up how Tyler was taking over.

OH no, don't missinterpret me. The movie rocked my world too. I think it's brilliant, especially the ending. But the trailler doesn't really let you know how great the movie is. In fact, when I watched the trailer for the first time, I didn't think I was gonna like the movie. So, the tight abs is what makes the TRAILER worth watching. At least to me. But you are right, the move is more than five starts.

Because it shows tight abs of Brad Pitt doesn't it?
Anyway, I've watched this movie for more than 50 times !! more than five stars to me!

fight club has a message the message is of total anarchy and that we are a generation of men raized by women with no way of knowing how to express anger appropriatly, and also that media has led use to believe in complete and total lies.
