-LImâm Ibn Kathir (rahimahullâh) dit dans lexplication [Tafsîr] de ce verset :

« Le verset du trône [Ayat al-Kursî] revêt une grande importance. En effet, daprès un hadîth authentique, le Messager (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) dit quil est le meilleur verset du Livre dAllâh.

-Abû Hurayra a rapporté que lEnvoyé dAllâh (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) a dit :

« Dans la sourate «Al-Baqarah», il y a un verset [Âyat al-Kursî] qui est le Chef des Versets du Coran, il nest pas récité dans une maison sans que le démon ne la quitte. »
