I think most people just want an easy life, not caring about the great questions and responsibilities of the world. Some will steal, some will kill and many will not care. Regardless of the political paradigm.
The sad truth is, this world belongs to the exceptions. The few humans who are smarter, stronger and willing to accept responsibility. They shape the world, they govern it. Us average Joe's and Jane's don't matter at all. Why? because we don't want to. because we just want the easy life.

We're fucked in a monetary sense. We're not all going to magically drop dead at the same time. Some bad shit will happen. Some very bad shit, possibly on a huge scale. But after this arbitrary system fails, those of us who remain will press on and be part of a possibly brighter future. If we willfully surrender all hope, then we allow the future to fuck itself. Don't give up so easily.

Thats because humans continue to try and use old methods in order to devise peace and balance.
We don't need a single ruler over us, rather a coming together of minds.
When we combine collectively our thoughts, we can accomplish ANYTHING.We need to devise a new way of thinking and living, mainly i blame money and the idea that a piece of paper with a number written on it actually means anything.We as a species could come up with something way more creative that allows EVERYONE to be equal.
