I had a dream last night... and I became completely lucid.

I flew. I started a short run with my wife Bianca in hand, and hoisted myself up into the air. We were drifting higher and higher in the air like superheroes, maneuvering and looking down at the Earth. I remember the AIR flowing past my ears. I remember it being the most amazing sight to see the ground we were walking on, now underneath us, getting smaller and smaller as we flew higher. I remember not being able to stop smiling.

Then I had a false awakening. I thought I'd woken up...I walked to a bar in our apartment complex (!!) and sat down to write notes on the dream I just had. I talked to dream characters and thanked them for the experience... and then I let myself wake up.

I am so completely amazed at the things we can do with our minds. I have NO doubt in my mind that things like dreaming, lucid dreaming, meditating, and astral travel are a conscious gateway into the subconscious mind (and possibly a LOT more). I'm excited to explore more, to dream more and to meditate more.

And just to let you know - I'm not a buddhist, christian, islam, anything. I'm just having fun exploring. =)
