  • what about ...

what about attaching a wide angel lens to the focusing lens to get a wider image, because you have to zoom in on the focusing screen , and then u get a very close picture, would that work? has anybody tried that yet?

The lens you have is the best for this kind of projects. The focal lens is measured by focusing at infinity the lens and moving the screen until you can have a sharp and focus image of a far object or landscape.

As shown in Time 3:48 of this Video. And did you screw the Lens adapter then into a kind of step up ring to go up to the PVC-Tube Diameter

Thank you and you´re right. you need an external mic always that you want to do a decent production. I´m thinking in a new video using the build-in mic vs. an external mic.

It does get rid of the grain and small dust, but I guess you'll need an external mic because the camera's built in mic picked up the sound of the motor in the test. An external mic is usually better for sound than the camera's mic anyhow. Nice work.

  • try to find a lens ...

try to find a lens with the least f (the opening of the shutter) so you can let most of the light come in but remember that the most light loss is due to the focus screen type
