Artbreak Idol works just like American Idol. The judges criticize contestants, harshly if they so feel like it, just like American Idol. They had a celebrity judge this year, Jason Castro. Jason was a semi-finalist in American Idol. Shreveport Regional Arts Council flew him and his band members in from Dallas and Nashville. He coached all of the contestants in the top 15 the day before the competition. Leah sang the lively song, "Forget You", in the style of Glee. Then in the next round she sang a very emotional rendition of "Memories". Jason said to the crowd that he was pleasantly surprised by the change from Leah that demonstrated both her bright and dark ranges. Leah Thompson is a 9 year old aspiring actress and singer.
