Rab takes Matt Fernie to Italy for the World Cup but Matt is taken seriously ill before the final game, Scotland vs Brazil. Rab goes to see Matt on his death bed, his dying wish is to find out what the final result was. Rab, trying not to cry, lies and tells Matt Scotland beat Brazil 3-0!

    Gregg is at his best here. I cant imagine any show our any performer pulling off this dialogue quite so well. For this episode alone Gregg should of won a bafta & every comedy & actor award going. It is incredible. Rab C Nesbitt is one of the best comedys ever & Gregg is one of the greatest actors ever. This show is a credit to Scotland & a reason I believe Scottish comedy is the best. All hail Rab & thank God its coming back. We need Rab C Nesbitt philosphy now more than ever.

    I remember reading at the time that they weren't allowed to film during the game, so the scenes you see were all done before kick off.I'm sure they never thought they'd end using the version the did.
