Desaturating hydrogen gas trapped in water using a water pump
12 v / 20 amps
tap water
416 sq in plate test

desaturate by pumping through screen
Waterfall effect
Gas filters out of water and rises while water returns back to tank.

  • there is a patent ...

there is a patent on using a system of high pressure electrolysis and graphite I came across
that discusses the chemical break downs. I'll look it up and give you a post when I get the chance. By the way on the 316 cell are you using a straight dc power supply or are you using a PWM on it?

  • Graphite works ...

Graphite works great, lots of gas! Can't remember if I had 18 sq inches from 3. Discs are 2.75 in which means approx 6 sq inches surface area per side. BUT, it makes gas down into the graphite because it is porous. This is low density graphite.

Pos plate does corrode. My understanding is the gas may be COH2. It burns slow and actually implodes when it S**ks the air in to burn
I may have some graphite in a few weeks. It's hard to get in low quantities..

  • Sorry first time ...

Sorry first time did a post didn' know there was a character limit....

As for the 316 what kind of production did you get off of your setup? with and without the desaturation? What was the spacing on your 316 cell?

Thanks love to talk more just getting started, looking into technology and what going on any guidence would help Thanks and keep up the good work.

  • Hey great to see ...

Hey great to see your site, I have been thinking about using graphite as electodes, saw your test with 1:30 sec /litre did you ever continue the tests? what grade and dimensions of graphite did you use? Did the grphite create any debree in the cell? did they wear out quickly? or not at all? are you familiar with edm ecm at all?

  • Increasing the ...

Increasing the efficiency of the unit. Initially it drew 30 amps then dropped 2-3 amps.

Units can be designed with smaller tolerances between plates to increase efficiency. The smaller the space between the plates the more gas saturation which is why it needs to be removed. Less space means you can use less electrolyte.

I think I know what you are getting at, but why not tell me just to confirm? ;-)
