I totally agree. This woman is absolutely awful and passionless. If the audience- in any of her performances-would have been kind, they would have put her out of her misery.

Even Freddie Mercury, may he rest in peace, would have sung this song with more passion and feeling. He loved his songs and made the audience love them too.

With all those wonderful musicians on stage, it would have been a crime not to acknowlege their contribution. As for Ms.O'Connor, I have seen singers in the New York subway system that are thousands of times more talented than her, and passionate about music. Her performance is totally devoid of any passion or warmth or love. I think that is the true missing element and something an artist absolutely needs in order to connect the song to the audience.

Post a video of you doing it better...oh that's right...you CAN'T. Sinead isn't singing opera and she certainly isn't bound by whatever criteria you think are authoritative in singing. She was pitch perfect and her projection was not a problem (there's a microphone right in front of her...) but go ahead and put her on blast. I'm sure your S**t doesn't stink.

The only nice thing I can say about self-absorbed Sinead is that she paid the salaries of all those wonderful musicians. Sinead manages to go to Music's outer banks with her angry punk rendition of this classic song. First of all, singing is from the gut, not the back of the mouth. All you had to do was take the chewing gum out for the 5 minutes and 50 seconds you were actually working! Why oh why do you release your notes like a premature ejaculation? Hold them for the love of G-d!
